BRANDON, Miss.–An afternoon of fun on jet skis ended Tuesday with a man being killed on a Rankin County lake and John Simpson, of Rankin County, being charged with boating under the influence and manslaughter.
The wreck happened just after 6 p.m. when the two men hit on Robin Hood Lake, which is south of Brandon.
The Dept. of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks has been called to assist the Rankin County Sheriff’s Dept. with the investigation.
The name of the person killed was not released Tuesday. His body has been taken to the state crime lab for an autopsy.
