COLUMBUS, Miss.- A Crawford man was sentenced to life in prison Friday on a murder charge.
Randall Cooper, Jr., 22, was found guilty of the death of Virgil Harris, 23, in December of 2013.
Harris was shot several times on 21st Street North and pronounced dead at the hospital.
A Lowndes County jury returned the verdict Friday following a trial this week.
