JACKSON, Miss— A DNA test could save a man’s life from execution in the Mississippi prison system.
Willie Jerome Manning has been convicted in two murder cases. One was the 1992 murder of two college students, and the other was for killing two women and robbing their apartment in 1993.
Manning’s attorneys hope DNA evidence will clear his name and get him released.
Evidence was sent to the crime lab last year, and the results are expected soon.
