JACKSON, MISS– Enjoying that sunshine? Get it while you can. Weather changing up come Sunday night.
“It’ll be warmer than normal with some clouds this weekend,” says Mike Edmunston with the National Weather Service, “little to no chance of rain for most of Mississippi, except for North.”
North, specifically northwest Mississippi, seeing a chance of rain and a storm or two, but across the map, things are changing up come Sunday night into Monday.
Edmunston says it isn’t definite yet, but that the system moving into the state Sunday and Monday could bring severe weather, with high winds, rain, hail and thunderstorms being the main threats.
