JACKSON, Miss.- A fight is what led to the incident Wednesday afternoon in the 2900 block of Bishop street. There were around two-dozen shots fired at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, about a block away from Walton Elementary School.
No one has been identified yet, but it has been confirmed that one man was shot in the left shoulder. However, the injury is non life-threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Police are still looking for at least one shooter, if not more. Anyone with any information in the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
