Mississippi State had been looking to add some beef to the talented skill positions already in the 2021 recruiting class, and on Tuesday night they got their man, adding Gabe Cavazos of Lake Comorant High School to their group.

Cavazos was offered by MSU at the end of July, and wasted little time jumping on board with the Bulldogs. He picked MSU over offers from Arkansas State, Memphis, and Middle Tennessee State. His commitment brings State’s 2021 tally up to 12, ranked 43rd nationally pending Cavazos being evaluated by 247Sports.
