VanCLEAVE, Miss.–Two two-year-old twin boys drowned in a pond in Jackson County near VanCleave Friday evening. The investigation is still on-going, but for now deputies are calling the drowning an accident.
Sheriff Mike Ezell told media that the bodies were found by someone who lives in the area. CPR was performed and the twins were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
There was very little information coming from investigators over the weekend. They did not release the names of the boys.
