BETHEDEN, Miss.–If you’ve never heard of Betheden, it may be because it’s a small community east of Hwy. 25 and north of Louisville. The community is small enough that the Thursday fire that killed James and Selma Triplett had to be fought by several members of their family, who are volunteer firefighters.
Their home burned because the wood burning stove was stopped up, said fire investigators.
A neighbor, who is also kin to the Tripletts, called 911, reported WCBI. By the time anybody saw the fire, it had already involved the entire house.
