College Savings Mississippi Offering Scholarship Through Art Contest

JACKSON, Miss.- The State Treasury has announced a new initiative to give students a scholarship opportunity.An art contest will be put on for any Mississippi child from Pre-K all the way through 12^th grade. They will be asked to put together a piece of art reflecting “who they want to be when they grow up.” The reward will be a $529 Mississippi Affordable College Savings Program scholarship granted to students in four different age divisions, which will be: Pre-K through 2^nd grade, 3^rd through 5^th grade, 6^th through 8^th grade, and 9^th through 12^th grade.

The Art Entry Form must be submitted by parents and legal guardians for a chance to win. The deadline to sign up will be March 31^st, 2015.
