ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. – A pilot and his passenger were killed when their plane crashed Sunday afternoon near the Attala and Leak County line.
The men were identified as pilot Allen Ross, of Kosciusko and Mark Denson, a former resident of the city.
The FAA Registration lists the craft, which went down around 5 p.m., as a Cessna 140. A team of investigators from the agency are expected to arrive Monday to help determine what caused the crash.
