RIDGELAND, MS – Former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour has been named chairman of Butler Snow’s new economic development company.
VisionFirst Advisors, as a subsidiary of the Ridgeland based law firm, will provide strategic analysis and identify market opportunities for its national and international customers.
Joing Barbour will be former Florida Secretary of Commerce Gray Swoope, who will be the president and chief executive officer. Swoope also has Mississippi ties. He is former executive director of the Mississippi Development Authority.
