JACKSON, Miss.- Democrat Jim Hood is running for his fourth term as Mississippi attorney general.
Hood’s campaign filed papers for re-election Friday, one week before the candidates’ qualifying deadline.
Hood is the only person running for attorney general at this time.
He is the only Democrat currently holding a statewide office.
