JACKSON, Miss.- Thousands of Wal-Mart employees will see a pay raise soon. The CEO of Wal-Mart made that announcement Thursday after multiple boycotts and strikes throughout the country.
Starting in April, hourly pay will increase by more than a dollar, going to $9 an hour and by early 2016 the pay will jump to $10 an hour.
There are 82 stores in Mississippi, so more than 23,000 people will see an increase in their paychecks.
