Ole Miss was picked to finish last in the SEC this season by the media on Wednesday at SEC Basketball Media Days in Birmingham. The Rebels have seven newcomers under first-year head coach Kermit Davis, including five freshmen. The team returns five contributors from a 2017 team that finished 12-20 and last in the SEC. Leading scorer Terence Davis returns along with Devonate Shuler, Breein Tyree, Bruce Stevens and Dominik Olejniczak. The Rebels did not have a player named to the All-SEC preseason teams.
