Paul Ott Carruth passed away on Sunday after a long battle with cancer. He was 83. Carruth was Mississippi’s goodwill ambassador, a conservationist, a Mississippi musician and songwriter, served as the honorary co-chairman for the 2008 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and was known for hosting radio and television shows.
