This year 100 farms from all across the country applied to receive one of the 10 possible Cultivating Change* grants, through the Greener Fields Together organization.
Among all the farms who applied, Choctaw Fresh Produce, in Philadelphia, MS was awarded a $20,000 grant! Choctaw Fresh Produce is a 3-acre organic farm run by the Choctaw Indians.
Sunrise Fresh Produce, who introduced this sustainability grant opportunity to the farm stopped by the studio to share more.
