JACKSON, Miss. – A truck ran off the road and crashed into several cars off I-55 in North Jackson Friday afternoon.
“The lady in the truck, had a seizure or something,” explained Tori Willard, who’s car was one of nearly a dozen hit. “She came off the Frontage Road and came across the bus stop and took out the cars in the Target parking lot and came across Red Lobster’s parking lot. And ended up right here. I think it was about 11 cars total that she came in contact with.”
The driver of the truck, whose name was not released, was alert and talking as paramedics took her to the hospital. “She was the only person hurt; none of the other drivers were in their cars,” Willard said.
