PIKE COUNTY, Miss. – A man who had been missing has been found dead in a rural area of Pike County.
Investigators say Leroy McCray, 68, had been shot. His body, which was found a few feet from his car, has been sent to the state crime lab in Jackson for an autopsy. Police say they have several leads, but not evidence at this stage to talk about any suspects
McCray was last seen over the weekend. Family members eventually called filed a missing person’s report Monday.
