All eyes will be on the contestants for the Miss America pageant coming up on Sunday. While the ladies will be strutting their stuff in gowns and swimsuits, their unique shoes will have already had a parade.
Each year, Miss Mississippi’s prep team comes up with a theme for a pair of shoes that will be worn during a special parade in Atlantic City. From there, the former Miss Mississippi will have the pleasure of wearing those shoes in the following year’s pageant parade.
Anne Elizabeth Buys will be wearing shoes inspired by the Coke bottling planet in her hometown of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
