HATTIESBURG, Miss– Eagle fans have picked the traditional eye logo and now it is making its way to being the next look for the Southern Miss football brand.
It was a call to change the logo from the United States Patent and Trademark Office that brought about two new potential logos for the Eagles. After weeks of voting and tallying, fans have spoken for the traditional eye logo.
WDAM reports that the logo now has to go through the approval process at the US Patent and Trademark office, which could take as long as six months.
The logo was designed by Rare Design of Hattiesburg.
