JACKSON, Miss.–It’s jacket weather again as you get ready for the last week of Christmas shopping in Mississippi, and it looks like Friday and Saturday are going to be wet.
Highs will be in the 50s for most places for Tuesday and through the rest of the week. That stretches from low 50s north to near 60 south and on the coast.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny, so there’s a chance to dry out before the next round of rain. For north Mississippi, that moves in Wednesday night.
For the rest of the state, it starts Thursday. The biggest rain chances will be Friday and Friday night, then a cold rain for Saturday.
The first part of next week will likely be cool still, but dry.
