Investigators Looking over Gas Station Surveillance and Cellphone Data in Death of Teenager Burned Live

COURTLAND, Miss. – Investigators continue to search for the killer in the death of 19-year-old Jessica Chambers. Over the weekend she was knocked out and burned alive on the side of the road in Panola County and died later at the hospital over.

Her mother, Lisa Chambers, told Fox News her daughter was going to clean out her car and buy something to eat before she died.

Investigators have been looking over video surveillance footage from a gas station in Courtland where Chambers was seen just hours before she died. They are also checking Chambers’ cellphone for leads while they wait on results from an autopsy.

Several people have been questioned, but still no arrests have been made.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Well’s Funeral Home in Batesville.
