JACKSON, Miss. – Suspected members of Aryan Brotherhood Mississippi were arrested on charges including killings, assaults, kidnappings, racketeering, and distribution of methamphetamine.
According to the Justice Department, 13 of the 14 people believed to be involved in Mississippi were indicted in federal court Thursday. Investigators also believe the group is connected to 11 others who were indicted in Oklahoma that are believed to be members of the Universal Aryan Brotherhood of Oklahoma.
The Aryan Brotherhood is a whites only prison gang that was first formed in the California prison system in the 1960s. They have history of crime operations inside and outside of prisons.
