JACKSON, Miss– 2 years of smuggling meth from California to Mississippi. It’s ended with 20 people in jail. At a press conference Tuesday, Mississippi Southern District U.S. Attorney Greg Davis confirmed the ring was busted. Over 2 years of trafficking brought ninety-percent pure meth into Mississippi from California. Davis says numerous counties were involved. ” Neshoba, Scott, Newton, Leake, Madison, Rankin and Lauderdale counties,” says Davis. The smuggling was happening right under your nose. “They utilized United States Postal Service, overnight delivery companies, and personal vehicles,” Davis states. Twenty people have been arrested and are looking at anywhere from twenty years to life in prison. Three Mississippi people are still on the run. “Terry Garth of Newton, Mississippi; Precious Grace of Meridian, Mississippi and Kenneth Wagner of Forrest, Mississippi,” according to Davis. If you know where they are, call the cops.
