TIPPAH COUNTY, Miss.–A pot growing operation in northeast Mississippi has been taken down after law enforcement spotted the plants in a search from the air. About 160 marijuana plants were seized in a rural part of the county called Cotton Plant.
Tippah deputies, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and the Union County Sheriff’s Dept. all helped with the operation Tuesday.
What’s still missing are the people who grew the pot. The MBN is launching an investigation, said Sheriff Karl Gaillard.
