HATTIESBURG—Taking a bike out for a spin next weekend could help this little boy.
If you’re a rider then you probably use your motorcycle for a joyride now and then. Next weekend there is an opportunity for your joyride to help a little boy. Two year-old Kolton Dunaway suffered severe burns to 21% of his body back in April. His family had used a fire pit the night before—it was still hot when Kolton fell in. Second and third degree burns covered 21% of Kolton’s body. Since April, he’s had 8 surgeries as well multiple skin grafts.
Kolton’s Ride will be August 16, starting at the Keg and Barrel in Hattiesburg. Registration starts at 9am and the kickstands go up at 10:30. This is a family friendly event—there will be door prizes, auctions and live entertainment. You can find out more on the event’s Facebook page.
