MADISON, Miss.- After three days of searching, search crews recovered the body of the missing boater who went swimming at the Ross Barnett Reservoir late Tuesday night.
John Gregory Kassel, 53, of Madison, was pulled from the water around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
Police said, the three people that were on the boat with Kassel called the police for help after he went into the water for a swim and never came back.
Police said the water where Kassel went under was 30 to 40 feet deep.
