PHILADELPHIA, Miss.–If you’re headed to the Neshoba County Fair for Wednesday and Thursday’s political speeches, you’ll probably want to wear shorts, but you’ll be a lot more comfortable than in the past couple of years.
Even though it’s going to be hot, temps won’t be anywhere near the mid 90s that you might be used to, said National Weather Service Meteorologist Steve Wilkinson.
“We’re in kind of a pattern where it’s gonna be below normal temperatures and dry for Wednesday,” said Wilkinson.
Wednesday’s high may only reach 88.
“As we go into Thursday we may very well see some light showers or light rainfall develop through the day, which may very well keep the temperatures in the low 80s. If you can dodge the raindrops, it’s going to be very comfortable for the end of July.”
