CRAWFORD, Miss.–It was a wreck on Main St. in Crawford Tuesday night about 8, and the littlest victim, three-year-old Tanyla Allen, died Thursday.
The car flipped several times and crashed and it may have been because the driver, 40-year-old Pamela Harkin, blacked out. Her injuries were not severe.
Someone came along and took Allen to the local hospital in a private car. She was later transferred to UMMC in Jackson. That’s where she died Thursday, just after noon.
Investigators in Lowndes County still haven’t closed the book on the investigation. There was no word on funeral arrangements.
