JACKSON, Miss. — If you don’t want to get wet today, you better take an umbrella or coat with you before you would walk out the door. Rains are moving east across the state. There is also a chance for heavy rains, which could mean flash flooding in some areas. Also, the possibility of a storm or two popping up cannot be ruled out.
North of Hattiesburg to Jackson and Meridian and near the Tennessee State line is where you can expect the roughest weather.
That rain will stick around into the evening and more rain is expected Saturday. Sunday rains are expected again at about a 60 percent chance with party cloudy skies.
