PHNOM PENH, Cambodia–Found wrapped in a curtain in a garbage dump in Cambodia’s capital city last week, William Glenn, 43, of Mississippi. Authorities in that city were looking for clues in his murder.
Glenn was a teacher there and had left his home, which was described by police as a guesthouse, last Tuesday on his motorcycle.
He was not seen alive again.
His body was found Wednesday and news of his death finally reached U.S. media over the weekend. A local paper reported that he was strangled.
It was unclear just where in Mississippi Glenn was from. He had been in Phnom Penh for about two months.
Cambodia is next to Vietnam.
