JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) unlocked its new Literacy Garden Friday.
The Garden connects children to literacy and learning through play, explained MCM President Susan Garrard. “The Literacy Garden will be a one-of-a-kind experience for children to cultivate early childhood literacy skills in an exciting, imaginative outdoor environment,” she said.
The garden includes nine exhibits including a Tree House, Dancing Waters Wordfall, a talking Fairytale Mushroom Forest, Creativity Wall and Work of Art Writing Stations.
