SHELBY, Miss.- A body was found in the Mississippi River near Shelby Monday night and Bolivar County police need your help identifying the black male.
The body was spotted by a fisherman and recovered around 6 p.m. Monday evening. They believe the man is anywhere from 35-50 years old.
Officials said the man may have been in the water a couple of weeks or longer. The body will receive an autopsy from the coroner and officials upriver will be contacted to see if there’s any missing persons out.
