SENATOBIA, Miss. — Some furniture makers in Senatobia are losing their jobs.
Chromcraft Revington has already layed off as many as 200 employees and plans to close for good later this year. A company spokesperson said their primary lender has demanded repayment of its loans, leaving them no other choice but to shut down. She said their plan now is to fulfill all remaining orders and repay creditors as much as possible. At its peak, Chromcraft Revington employed more than 1,000 people at its Senatobia plant.
