A Department of Corrections warden has been shot to death by her nephew.
Holmes County Sheriff Deputies say Fay Ann Noel was shot in the chest Saturday night at a local home and pronounced dead at the University Hospital in Lexington. Her nephew, Kenneth Lee Williams, 25, was arrested after being brought to the same hospital by another relative for treatment. He’s charged with murder.
Noel had worked for the Department of Corrections for about 25 years.
