BRANDON, Miss.- There was a lock down at an elementary school Monday morning after police spotted a suspicious man with an ax wandering around outside Rouse Elementary School in Brandon.
When police approached the guy he ran off into the woods. He fought with an officer for a moment, but was able to escape.
Parents were called and able to pick up their children at 1:30 p.m.
Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently looking for the guy.
