WASHINGTON, D.C.–Mississippi Congressman Alan Nunnelee (R) was admitted to a Washington, D.C. hospital Thursday after having nausea and fatigue, said a statement from his camp. Doctors found an “abnormality” on the right side of his brain.
Nunnelee, of Tupelo, said in his statement that he started feeling tired and sick Wednesday. He went to the hospital after consulting with the doctor for the House of Representatives.
Doctors found the abnormality after conducting an MRI.
Nunnelee said he hopes to be released sometime in the next few days.
He had just recently gone back to DC after touring areas hit by storms in Mississippi, including his hometown.
