Two arrests were made in Jeff Davis and Covington Counties on drug-related offenses.
The Jeff Davis and Covington County sheriff’s offices, the FBI and the MBN all worked together to conduct three search warrants and seize drugs.
“From those search warrants, methamphetamine, miscellaneous pills, marijuana and four guns were seized,” said MBN Director John Dowdy. “In Covington County our efforts resulted in almost a pound of powder Cocaine and two pounds of methamphetamine.”
Dowdy said that the approximate street value of the drugs that were seized was 65 thousand dollars.
