5K Race Benefiting Special Olympics Kicks off Saturday

MADISON, Miss.- The Third Annual Nate Rogers Race for the Laces 5K will be held on Saturday, Feb 21, at Germantown High School in Madison to benefit Special Olympics Mississippi.

The race is named in memory of Special Olympics Mississippi athlete Nate Rogers, the walk/run and kids’ fun run kicks off at 8 a.m. at Germantown High School. Winners will receive unique trophies for their efforts, including ceramic high-top shoes made by Special Olympics Mississippi athletes at the Mustard Seed.

More than 150 runners participated in the 2013 race.
