Five individuals, three of whom are reported to be children, have been hospitalized following a rollover crash in Jones County.
Local authorities reported that a 2005 Infiniti SUV left the road on Springhill Road in the Calhoun community and flipped multiple times. A trio of children — ages 3, 6, and 8 — were ejected from the vehicle. One of the children was said to be trapped under the vehicle when law enforcement arrived.

The three children were rushed to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in serious to critical condition. The 8-year-old was airlifted to the Jackson hospital while the siblings were transported by an ambulance. A pair of adults, said to be husband and wife, were treated for injuries at the South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Officials are investigating the cause of the crash. The identities of those involved have not been released at this time.
