HATTIESBURG, Miss. – One of the candidates you will see on next week’s ballot for Mississippi’s 4th district seat in the U.S. House of Representatives was arrested this week, charged with simple domestic violence.
Eli Jackson is the Reform Party candidate and is currently out of jail on $1,000 bond after he was arrested at his home Monday by Hattiesburg Police. The warrant was linked to a domestic violence incident that happened in May 2014.
Other 4th district House candidates include sitting Republican Representative Steven Palazzo. Democrat Matt Moore, Libertarian Joey Robinson, and independents Cindy Burleson and Ed Reich.
