Vicksburg police are investigating the death of a three-year-old boy who was found shot, Sunday afternoon.
The Vicksburg Police Department would not respond to our call but Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey has confirmed that the boy appears to have died from an accidental and self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The incident happened at a home on Ford Street. No arrest has been made and the name of the child has not been released. Vicksburg police are said to still be investigating the case.
According to Huskey, the child will undergo an autopsy.
