A manhunt has been called off after three illegal immigrants who escaped an ICE van Tuesday evening were taken into custody Wednesday morning.
The three Honduran men were being transported by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement when they escaped the vehicle that was stopped at a Love’s Truck Stop off Highway 20 in Newton County, according to WLBT.
On top of their alien status, additional charges stemming from the escape are expected.
