JACKSON COUNTY – You’re thinking of a great place to go camping, only to find out its burned to the ground.
It may have rained all day yesterday but that hasn’t come close to stopping a Mississippi wild fire.
As of yesterday, 4,000 acres had been destroyed, starting from South Jackson County and moving its way through Grand Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
So far, 50 percent of the outbreak is contained and they expect to have 100 percent contained by Friday.
