RIDGELAND, Miss. – A deputy chief arrested just outside of Jackson.
It happened Monday at the the Renasant Bank in Ridgeland.
That’s where witnesses say, Jackson deputy chief Brady Hightower got into a scuffle with his girlfriend, which led to her getting hit in the lip. The two were apparently arguing over their car.
When police got there, the girlfriend decided to press charges and therefore Deputy Chief Hightower was arrested.
Hightower has been charged with simple assault domestic violence.
His trial’ll starts in February.
