JACKSON, Miss. – Over 100 people gathered at the state capital in support of the state flag.
On a chilly afternoon they showed up with coats and their state flags.
Speakers went up one-by-one to the podium, preaching why they backed the state flag and why it doesn’t need to change.
Jessie Sanford is in support of the flag.
Just a dozen or so showed up in opposition. Sharron Brown was one of them.
Both sides were respectful to one another.
