BILOXI, Miss.- The final budget approval has been made for the coast ballpark
It’s up and running and now the final payment was signed off on for construction to the park. They still have to calculate MGM Park’s final assessment of the cost. WLOX reported that construction costs would be right at the city’s $36 million budget limit.
However, now sources are saying that it could be higher than that.
So far the city has used state funds and a $21 million dollar bond for the MGM Park and any costs that go over the budget limit will likely be paid out of the city’s general budget fund.
