D’IBERVILLE, Miss. – Police are looking for a hitchhiker accused of stabbing the driver in the neck.
This morning on your way into work a driver in D’iberville noticed a man walking along the shoulder of Mississippi 67 southbound and stopped to give him a ride. Shortly thereafter the hitchhiker asked to be dropped off. According to police the suspect then pulled out a syringe, stabbed the victim in the neck and then took off running.
The driver has been taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation.
