OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss may have to pay there assistant coaches more if they hope to keep’em.
When is comes to the salary pool, for football assistant coaches, Ole miss is at the bottom. Of the 13 public schools in the SEC, they’re dead last, paying a total of Just over $2.5 million. When you compare that to LSU and Alabama, they’re both paying over 5 million.
Luckily, for the rebels they’ve only lost two coaches since Hugh Freeze arrived in back in 2013.
Athletic Director Ross Bjork told the Clarion-Ledger, “Let’s do what we have to do to maintain the conitnuity and the consistency.”
