TUNICA, Miss. – Famed actor and Mississippian Morgan Freeman is uninjured after his plane crashed Saturday.
The private plane he was flying blew a tire after takeoff forcing Freeman to make a forced landing at a Tunica airport. In a statement issued by his publicists Freeman said, “Sometimes things don’t go as planned and a tire blew on takeoff, which caused other problems.” “But thanks to my excellent pilot Jimmy Hobs we landed safely without a scratch.”
